In Suzhou, China: Spending rainy day at the park outside

Hey, mom.

It was a rainy day but the atmosphere was clear, so we still went out today.

We found a park near our house and we visited it.

It was said that this small park was built quite several years ago. So it seemed to be a little bit old in 90s-style.

The weather was not so warm because of the rain. But never mind, we still enjoyed ourselves a lot.

In Suzhou, China: Making cookies!

Hey, mom

Today, host-sister is going to make cookies!

She finds an interesting website that teaches people cooking different food. And she find a lovely cookie. So she plans to have a try!

First, we mixe egg, flour and sugar together. Then we rub the mixture and twist them into a rope-like strip. We put them into a shape like the face of panda! See, they are lovely! We then put them into an oven.

Oh, where's the sweet smell?

In Suzhou, China: In the cinema, flower&fish market, and a restaurant

Hey, mom

 

Today we watched a movie in the cinema. It is the most beautiful cinema here in Suzhou. Do you see the golden pheasant? It is the symbol of a Chinese film festival. And can you find us in dark :P

 

In the afternoon, we went to a flower&fish market, where we saw many beautiful plants. We photoed with tulips and cactuses. Hah, there were some cute rabbits and we try to make friends with them!

 

We were tired after walking the whole afternoon, so we have a buffet in a restaurant.
It was a nice day:)

In Suzhou, China: Making pumpkin puddings!

Hey mom!

 

Today we made pumpkin puddings! It was interesting.

 

First, we washed a lovely pumpkin and cut it into square.

Then we cooked the pumpkin and grinded it. It was quite difficult.

We mixed pumpkin with milk, sugar and egg.

Finally, we put them into two cute bottle and stewed them.

 

Wow, they smelled sweet! We love desserts! :)

We arrived in China!!!

Hey mom.

We have arrived in China safely! We cannot wait to travel in here.
Host-sister lives in Suzhou. Suzhou is her hometown, and also the city she studies in university.
We will enjoy our new year holiday here in China :)
