Postcrossing meeting - Jyväskylä, Finland

Hello hello!

We were outside walking when we saw some pretty tiny flowers there.



"Ooooh, these flowers are like my blue eyes!" Stella was thinking.



Puuuuuuuuuhhhhhh.... ppppuuuuuuuuuhhhhh...

Stella was blowing this "plowing-flower"



Finally we arrived. We went to Harjun Paperi, the best postcard shop in the city.

Sooooooo many postcards!!! 

There was a postcrossing meeting there. And some other toys were there, too!



After the meeting, it was time to mail postcards into the mailbox.

("Halaus on hyvä lahja, yksi koko sopii kaikille." = A hug is a good present, one size fits for everyone.)

A rainbow - in Jyväskylä, Finland

Hei! Hello! Hi!

We saw a rainbow (sateenkaari in Finnish) in the sky today!

It's so beautiful.

Hello!

Now we want to show You some views of our hometown Jyväskylä.

We went to visit näkötorni (a viewingtower) to the place called Harju. Harju is like a hill just next to city center. From the viewingtower we could see the hole city!

There's the city center and a harbour of Jyväskylä.

The lake behind those buildings is called as Jyväsjärvi.  

There's a sport stadium of Harju.

There wasn't anyone practising there at the moment we were in the viewingtower...

This picture shows Jyväskylä city from the other direction.

If you look very carefully to the horizon, you might can see the place called Laajavuori. It's a place for downhill skiing and ski jumping.

 There's our home.

Can you see the little bit of white in the middle of many trees?

Yes, there it is, just next to the lake.

There's Natural History Museum in the same building as the viewingtower,

so we went there to see some Finnish animals.

The Natural History Museum's website tells that...

..."The Natural History Section serves as a preservation unit for natural scientific research, and displays environmental subjects and research material. It takes care of the living plants of the botanical garden on the campus. It also receives wild animals found dead and prepares scientific samples of them. The section has a collection of over 250 000 samples, the most numerous being invertebrates, plants and moss."

There's hirvi (a moose). It's the biggest animal living in Finland.

And there's karhu (a bear). This one is a baby bear.

There's two swans. Joutsen (a swan) is the national animal of Finland.

Hih, and there's vesilähde (a fountain) just next to Harju.

International meeting of travelling toys, in Jyväskylä, Finland

Hello!

We had really exiting day today!

We were in a meeting of travelling toys / ToyVoyagers!

It was really international meeting, because toys were from different countries, and there were also people from Finland and Germany. We all have such a great time together.

Here we all toys are, in a place called Kirkkopuisto (a church park) in Jyväskylä.

As you can see from the photo, there were sooooooo many toys there.

Let me introduce us:

JUMP from Finland, Krok Little from The Netherlands, baby jump from Finland, Horizon from Luxembourg, us (Stella and Luna), TobiHH from Germany, Hop from Germany, Mr.Stanley from Germany, Vriendje from The Netherlands, B.o.B. from Germany, Muggel Rainbow from Germany, dicker Kumpel from Germany, Erol the Pirat from Germany, Yetta Bear from USA, Mi Nam from USA, Finfin from Germany, Telie from Luxembourg, PinkLady from The Netherlands, Mo from Poland, Kit-Kat from Germany, Wayne from Germany and Ronja from Germany.

Then we had a surprise to our German guests.

We went to see the postcard shop, and guess what?!? There was a postcrossing meeting there!

After a long and exiting day, we were quite tired, so we went to sleep.

Hello!

Stella arrived back home today, and she has lots of talking about:

all those memories and adventures in Belgium.

Stella showed all those small nice things she got with her from Belgium.  

"You have got so many nice experiences!" said Luna.

"But it's great that you are at home now."

Jeppe-cat came to say hello, too.

He just did it so quickly... so quickly...

I am on my way home now.

Hostmom Cin has left me at the postoffice with a very nice lady :P

So I am thinking about all the special and funny moments that we been through...

As I arrived the sun was burning on my furry-skin.

Went to Bruges!!

Met Hostmom Cin's Mother

Went to visit Hostmom Cin's neighbour.

Met her doggy Lilly and her kitty Lola

 I went to school with Hostmom Cin.

I helped to prepare the Easterbrunch.

I ate "soldaatjes" translated : little slodiers

Mister J took me to the concert of Paul McCartney!!

I went on a schooltrip:)

Had a little accident on Friday the 13th

Went shopping with Hostmom Cin.

We had so much fun inside the fittingroom :P
